Physiotherapy Unit

The Institute has started this department in February, 2000. A trained and experienced physiotherapist is posted here.

Different type of outdoor and indoor patients are attending the Physiotherapy deptt. Patients with musculo-skeletal problems, neurological, congenital disabilities, polio, post-burn contracture, geriatric problems etc are evaluated and treated. The department has the following equipments:-

-        Short wave diathermy
-        Ultra Sound
-        Electrical Stimulation
-        Transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulator (TENS)
-        Intermittent & static cervical and pelvic traction set
-        Paraffin wax bath
-        Rowing machine
-        Static cycle
-        Shoulder wheel
-        Neuro-development training ball
-        Quadriceps table
-        Pegs board set
-        Passive knee mobilizer
-        Treadmill.
