The Institute is running an Out Patient’s Department since 1958. Day by day this departmen

t is becoming more and more popular. The OPD facility is available daily from 9.A.M. to 4.00 P.M. and on Sunday and gazetted holidays it is from 9.00 AM to 1.00 PM. There is a big and spacious waiting room with capacity to seat 150 patient and their relatives in the OPD Complex. Patients are required to pay a nominal sum of Rs. 20/- only for registration. Free medicines are given to the patients in the OPD for a month. For B.P.L. Patients no registration fee. In addition to psychiatrists, the services of other specialists e.g. physician, eye specialist, specialist in tropical medicine and dentist are also available. Psychological testing and family counselling services are also available. Pathological examination and other investigation faclities are available in the OPD complex. Physiotherapy unit is also located in the OPD Complex. Attendance of patients in out patients Department during the year and previous six years is given below:-
